§ 58-5-7-1

58:5-7.1. Acceptance of federal grants authorized The commission for itself or in behalf of its participating municipalities is authorized to accept grants of funds, grants of material and property from the United States of America, its agencies or instrumentalities, and may comply with any rules or regulations pertaining thereto.
