§ 1-2-1-2

For the purposes of any action filed in court challenging a procedure or provision of the Election Code, a petition or a candidacy or a post-election action initiated by any person, the secretary of state shall receive service of process, regardless of whether the secretary of state is a party to the action.History: 1978 Comp., § 1-2-1.2, enacted by Laws 2023, ch. 39, § 10.ANNOTATIONSEffective dates. — Laws 2023, ch. 39 contained no effective date provision, but, pursuant to N.M.
