A. Each eligible judge of the court of appeals shall be subject to retention or rejection at the general election in the last year of the eight-year term of office for the position in which the judge is serving.B. Terms of office for positions on the court of appeals shall be staggered so that at least two terms of office shall expire each even-numbered year; provided that no more than three terms of office shall expire in the same year.C.
