Section 11-8-3 - State defined; Article II

As used in this compact [11-8-1 to 11-8-11 NMSA 1978], 'state' means a state, territory or possession of the United States, the District of Columbia, or the commonwealth of Puerto Rico. History: 1953 Comp., § 77-20-3, enacted by Laws 1967, ch. 16, § 285.
