Section 15-8-11 - Report to legislature

The division shall provide an annual report to the legislature that includes information on the operations of the division, including reports on Motor Vehicle Code [66-1-1 NMSA 1978] violations, accidents and insurance claims involving state vehicles owned or leased by the division; major maintenance costs; and purchases and sales of motor vehicles. The report shall be deemed to have been provided to the legislature when filed with the legislative council service and the legislative finance committee. ANNOTATIONSThe 2007 amendment, effective July 1, 2007, added the qualification that state vehicles be owned or leased by the division and deleted the requirement that the report include information about the progress of the division in carrying out the provisions of the Alternative Fuel Acquisition Act.
