The president of New Mexico state university shall appoint a committee to work with the program director in establishing operating policies and program priorities. The committee shall consist of three members: one individual nominated by the Jicarilla and Mescalero Apache tribal presidents; one nominated by the chairman of the all Indian pueblo council; and one nominated by the chairman of the Navajo tribal council. The committee members shall serve a minimum term of two years with reappointment thereafter subject to the pleasure of the above-described Indian tribes. History: Laws 1981, ch. 313, § 2.
