A person may acquire an automated external defibrillator if the person has met all the requirements of Section 24-10C-4 NMSA 1978. Nothing in this section limits the right of a person to practice a health profession that the person is otherwise authorized to practice in accordance with the laws of New Mexico. ANNOTATIONSThe 2007 amendment, effective June 15, 2007, changed 'AED' to 'automated external defibrillator' and provided that a person may acquire an automated external defibrillator if he has met the requirements of Section 24-10C-4 NMSA 1978.
