Section 24-19-2 - Purpose

ANNOTATIONSThe 2013 amendment, effective June 14, 2013, expanded the function of the Children's Trust Fund Act to make the fund a statewide resource for the prevention of child abuse and neglect; added Subsection A and renumbered subsequent subsections; in Subsection B, after 'children's projects', added 'and programs'; and in Subsection C, after 'next generation fund projects', added 'and programs'. The 2005 amendment, effective June 17, 2005, added the purpose of managing next generation fund projects.
