Section 28-10-7 - Compensation

Members of the governor's commission on disability shall be reimbursed as provided in the Per Diem and Mileage Act [10-8-1 to 10-8-8 NMSA 1978] but shall receive no other compensation, perquisite or allowance. Members of the advisory council on disability may receive reimbursement in the same manner from funds available to the commission, only for advisory council meetings. ANNOTATIONSRepeals and reenactments. — Laws 1982, ch. 13, § 1, repealed former 28-10-8 NMSA 1978, as enacted by Laws 1977, ch. 198, § 7, relating to the administration and funding for the committee on concerns of the handicapped, and enacted a new section, effective March 1, 1982. The 2004 amendment, effective May 19, 2004, changed the name of the 'governor's committee on concerns of the handicapped' to the 'governor's commission on disability'.
