As used in the Law Enforcement Youth Cadet Corps Act: A. 'academy' means the New Mexico law enforcement academy; B. 'department' means the department of public safety; C. 'program' means a law enforcement leadership training and awareness program conducted at the academy; and D. 'student' means an individual enrolled in a high school in New Mexico.
