Every plat shall contain a statement that the subdivision of, [(]insert a correct description of the land being subdivided[)], appearing on the plat is with the free consent and in accordance with the desire of the undersigned owner and proprietor of the land and shall be acknowledged by the owner and proprietor or his authorized agent in the manner required for the acknowledgment of deeds.
