Section 3-50-8 - Lease of parking facilities; bids

If a city desires to lease any project acquired by it under the provisions of the Municipal Parking Law, it shall do so by publication of notice and award to the highest responsible bidder. The governing body shall by ordinance prescribe the method of giving notice inviting bids. The notice shall distinctly and specifically describe the project and the facilities in connection therewith which are to be leased, the period of time for which the project is to be leased and the minimum rental to be paid under the lease.
