As used in the Metropolitan Boundary Act for Class A Counties: A. 'county' means the county in which the municipality or land is situated; B. 'district court' means the district court of the district in which the municipality or land is situated; C. 'local public body' means every political subdivision of the state which is empowered to receive or expend public money from whatever source derived; D. 'publish' or 'publication' means printing in a newspaper which maintains an office in the county and is of general circulation within the county; and E. 'municipality' means all municipalities having a population over one hundred thousand and located within a class A county, but only as to that land located within a conservancy district.
