Report of a violation to a law enforcement agency. — The statute of limitations to commence a prosecution for a violation of Section 30-6-1, 30-9-11 or 30-9-13 NMSA 1978 is triggered only for the specific violation that was reported to a law enforcement agency and does not commence to run until the facts that form the basis for the violation that is being prosecuted were reported to a law enforcement agency.
