Section 30-7-14 - Weapon detection

A bus transportation company may employ any reasonable means, including mechanical, electronic or x-ray devices to detect concealed weapons, explosives or other hazardous material in baggage or upon the person of a passenger. The company may take possession of any concealed weapon, explosive or other hazardous material discovered and shall turn such items over to law enforcement officers. History: Laws 1979, ch. 376, § 5.
