As used in the Adult Community Corrections Act: A. 'department' means the corrections department; B. 'fund' means the community corrections grant fund; C. 'program' means a community-based program that is operated by a county, municipality, the department or a private organization, individually or jointly, with the purpose of providing services to criminal offenders; D. 'criminal offender' means any person convicted of a felony; and E. 'volunteer services' means services provided by individuals or organizations without compensation.
