All current employees holding covered positions affected by the District Attorney Personnel and Compensation Act shall be continued in their positions and shall be recognized as covered employees if they have held the position for at least six months prior to the effective date of the District Attorney Personnel and Compensation Act. All other employees holding covered positions affected by the District Attorney Personnel and Compensation Act shall be continued as probationary employees until they have successfully completed their probationary period. Nothing in the District Attorney Personnel and Compensation Act shall preclude the reclassification or reallocation of any position held by a current employee. History: Laws 1991, ch. 175, § 13.
