The members of the labor and industrial commission shall before entering upon the duties of their respective offices take an oath for the faithful discharge of those duties. Compiler's notes. — The provisions regarding bond of the commissioner, referred to in the catchline, were deleted in the amendment by Laws 1987, ch. 342, § 26. The 1987 amendment, effective July 1, 1987, deleted 'and the labor commissioner' following 'commission' and deleted the former second sentence which read 'The labor commissioner shall give bond as provided in the Surety Bond Act'.
