As used in the Artists' Consignment Act: A. 'art' means a painting, sculpture, drawing, work of graphic art, pottery, weaving, batik, macrame or quilt containing the artist's original handwritten signature on the work of art; B. 'artist' means the creator of a work of art, or, if he is deceased, the artist's heirs or personal representative; C. 'art dealer' means a person primarily engaged in the business of selling works of art; D. 'creditor' means a 'creditor' as defined in Section 55-1-201 NMSA 1978; and E.
