A secondhand metal dealer shall not process or permit to be removed from the dealer's premises regulated material until at least twenty-four hours have elapsed since the dealer acquired the regulated material. Laws 2012, ch. 29, § 10 and Laws 2012, ch. 33, § 10 enacted identical amendments to this section. The section was set out as amended by Laws 2012, ch. 33, § 10. See 12-1-8 NMSA 1978.
