§ 59a-13-3

A. No person shall, in this state, act as, or make any representation as being, an adjuster unless licensed as such by the superintendent under the Insurance Code. B. No person, regardless of location, shall act as, or make any representation as being, an adjuster with respect to workers' compensation claims of claimants resident or located in New Mexico unless licensed as such by the superintendent under the Insurance Code. C. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, a nonresident may be licensed as a nonresident independent adjuster for the purposes of portable electronics insurance if that applicant has designated another state as the applicant's home state.
