§ 61-1-31-2

A board may issue a temporary or other provisional license, including an expedited license, to a person licensed in another licensing jurisdiction, which may be limited as to time, practice or other condition of a regular license. If a board requires licensees to carry professional or occupational liability or other insurance, the board shall require the applicant for a temporary or provisional license to show evidence of having required insurance that will cover the person in New Mexico during the term of the temporary or provisional license.
