Section 61-1-32 - Petition for adoption, amendment or repeal of rules

An interested person may request in writing that a board subject to the Uniform Licensing Act adopt, amend or repeal a rule. Within one hundred twenty days after receiving the written request, the board shall either initiate proceedings in accordance with the State Rules Act [Chapter 14, Article 4 NMSA 1978] or issue a concise written statement of its reason for denial of the request.
