A license shall be valid for a period not to exceed three years. No later than the last day of the month immediately following the licensee's birth month in the third calendar year after the license becomes effective, a licensee may renew the license by submitting a renewal application, renewal fee, proof of completion of the required continuing education as established by rule of the board and other information necessary for a state and national criminal background check. A home inspection performed based on an expired license shall be deemed a violation of the Home Inspector Licensing Act.History: Laws 2019, ch. 239, § 8.
