§ 61-28b-19

A. No person engaged in practice shall use in a business name the words 'company' or 'and company' or a similar designation or any abbreviations thereof unless the person is a firm pursuant to the 1999 Public Accountancy Act and has more than one partner, shareholder or member and the business name contains the name of at least one current or former partner, shareholder or member. A business name may contain only the name or initials of a present or former partner, shareholder or member and the words 'and company' or 'company' or a similar designation or any abbreviation thereof. B.
