A. An anesthesiologist assistant student enrolled in an anesthesiologist assistant educational program accredited by the commission on accreditation of allied health education programs or its successor is exempt from licensure while functioning as an anesthesiologist assistant student; provided that the anesthesiologist assistant student is supervised by an anesthesiologist, a licensed anesthesiologist assistant or a second-year, third-year or fourth-year resident anesthesiologist.B.
