Transportation network companies and transportation network company drivers shall not be subject to the Motor Carrier Act [Chapter 65, Article 2A NMSA 1978] or deemed to provide any transportation service as defined in the Motor Carrier Act. A transportation network company driver shall not be required to register a personal vehicle as a commercial vehicle or vehicle for hire. History: Laws 2016, ch. 80, § 3.
