A distribution pursuant to Section 7-1-6.1 NMSA 1978 shall be made to the small cities assistance fund in an amount equal to fifteen percent of the net receipts attributable to the compensating tax. Applicability. — Laws 2012, ch. 5, § 7 provided that the distribution pursuant to Laws 2012, ch. 5, § 3 applies to receipts from compensating taxes that are attributable to sales on or after January 1, 2013.
