A distribution pursuant to Section 7-1-6.1 NMSA 1978 shall be made to the small counties assistance fund in an amount equal to ten percent of the net receipts attributable to the compensating tax. However, Laws 1983, ch. 211, § 10, provided for a distribution in an amount equal to two percent of the net receipts. Both acts were approved on April 6, 1983.
