Section 73-17-5 - Prohibition of injury to survey marks [; field notes are district property]

The wilful destruction, injury or removal of any bench marks, witness marks, stakes or other reference marks, placed by the surveyors or engineers or by contractors in constructing the works of the district, shall be a misdemeanor, punishable by fine not exceeding one hundred ($100) dollars.
