Section 74-9-17 - Specific program; education to promote source reduction and recycling

A. The division, in cooperation with the state department of public education, shall develop an educational program for the public in support of the state source reduction and recycling goals to promote source reduction and recycling efforts at the individual, local, regional and state levels. B. The division shall develop and disseminate educational material designed to establish broad public understanding of, and compliance with, the state's source reduction and recycling goals.
