§ 76-11-10-1

No person shall distribute an adulterated fertilizer product. A fertilizer shall be deemed to be adulterated if: A. it contains any deleterious or harmful substance in sufficient amount to render it injurious to beneficial plant life, animals, humans, aquatic life, soil or water when applied in accordance with directions for use on the label or if adequate warning statements or directions for use that may be necessary to protect beneficial plant life, animals, humans, aquatic life, soil or water are not shown on the label; B. its composition falls below or differs from that which it is purported to possess by its labeling; or C. it contains unwanted crop seed or weed seed. IV, § 23, was effective June 14, 2013, 90 days after the adjournment of the legislature.
