Any person who violates Section 1 [77-18-3 NMSA 1978] of this act is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punished by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) or by imprisonment for a definite term of less than one year or both.\nHistory:\nLaws 1989, ch. 175, § 2.
