A person who violates the provisions of Section 77-9-26 NMSA 1978 is guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be sentenced in accordance with the provisions of Section 31-19-1 NMSA 1978 for each head in offense. The 1993 amendment, effective June 18, 1993, added the current catchline; substituted 'Section 77-9-26 NMSA 1978 is' for 'the preceding Section shall be deemed'; and made minor stylistic changes.
