To qualify for a license as a respiratory therapist, an applicant shall fulfill the following requirements:\n1. Application: file an application with the department;\n2. Education: have received an education, including completion of an approved associate degree program in respiratory therapy or in a program determined by the department to be the equivalent;\n3. Experience: have experience satisfactory to the board and in accordance with the commissioner's regulations;\n4.
