The seal of each court of record in the state, now in use, shall continue to be the seal of the court in which it is in use. A description of each of such seals, must be deposited and recorded in the office of court administration, unless it has already been done; and must remain of record. The provisions of this section shall not be applicable in those cases where special provisions are otherwise made by law.
