For purposes of this section, the terms 'lobbyist', 'lobbying', 'lobbying activities' and 'client' shall have the same meaning as those terms are defined by section one-c of the legislative law.\n2. In addition to any other registration and reporting required by law, each lobbyist seeking to engage in lobbying activity on behalf of a client or a client's interest before the commission shall first register with the secretary of the commission. The secretary shall cause a registration to be available on the commission's website within five days of submission.
