a. This chapter shall be known as the 'workers' compensation law.' b. Reference in this chapter or in any other law to the workmen's compensation law shall be deemed to mean and refer to the workers' compensation law. The terms 'workman' or 'workmen' appearing in this chapter shall be deemed to mean 'worker' or 'workers', respectively. The terms 'he,' 'his,' or 'him,' appearing in this chapter shall be deemed to mean 'he or she,' 'his or her,' and 'him or her.'
