\nAn increase in a Medical Assistance Program recipient's income due solely to a cost-of-living adjustment to federal Social Security and Railroad Retirement payments shall be disregarded when determining income eligibility for the Medical Assistance Program. This section shall not be deemed to render a recipient eligible for the Medical Assistance Program if all other eligibility requirements are not met. (2012-142, s. 10.6(a); 2016-94, s. 12H.7.)
