\n(a) There is established, within the Department of Public Safety, the Division of Emergency Management, which shall be organized and staffed in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and within the limits of authorized appropriations.\n(b) The Division of Emergency Management shall have the following powers and duties:\n(1) Repealed by Session Laws 2011-145, s. 19.1(aa), effective January 1, 2012.\n(2) To exercise the powers and duties conferred on it by Chapter 166A of the General Statutes.\n(3) To exercise any other powers vested by law.
