\n(a) Organization. – The Department shall be organized by the State CIO into divisions and units that support its duties.\n(b) Education Community of Practice. – There is established an Education Community of Practice to promote collaboration and create efficiencies between and among The University of North Carolina and its constituent institutions, the North Carolina Community Colleges System Office, the constituent institutions of the Community College System, the Department of Public Instruction, and local school administrative units.\n(c) Other Units. – Other units of the Department include the following:\n(1) Center for Geographic Information and Analysis.\n(2) Repealed by Session Laws 2021-180, s. 19A.7A(d), effective January 1, 2022.\n(3) Government Data Analytics Center.\n(4) North Carolina 911 Board.\n(5) North Carolina Geographic Information Coordinating Council.
