\nThe head of the Department is the Secretary of the Department of Adult Correction. The Secretary shall have the powers and duties as are conferred on the Secretary by this Article, delegated to the Secretary by the Governor, and conferred on the Secretary by the Constitution and laws of this State. The Secretary is authorized to adopt rules and procedures for the implementation of this Article. (2021-180, s. 19C.9(g).)
