\nThe Department of Health and Human Services shall develop and implement the Family Resource Center Grant Program. The Department shall:\n(1) Sponsor a statewide conference for teams of interested representatives to provide background information and assistance regarding all aspects of the program;\n(2) Disseminate information regarding the program to interested local community groups;\n(3) Provide initial technical assistance and ongoing technical assistance to grant recipients;\n(4) Administer funds appropriated by the General Assembly;\n(5) Monitor the grants funded and the ongoing operations of family resource centers;\n(6) Revoke a grant if necessary or appropriate;\n(7) Report to the General Assembly and the Joint Legislative Commission on Governmental Operations, in accordance with G.S. 143B-152.15; and\n(8) Adopt rules to implement this Part.
