\nThe following definitions apply in this Article:\n(1) Airport operator. – As defined in G.S. 20-280.1.\n(2) Peer-to-peer vehicle sharing. – The authorized use of a shared vehicle by an individual other than the shared vehicle owner through a peer-to-peer vehicle sharing program.\n(3) Peer-to-peer vehicle sharing program. – A business platform that connects shared vehicle owners with drivers to enable the sharing of vehicles for financial consideration.\n(4) Shared vehicle. – A vehicle that is available for sharing through a peer-to-peer vehicle sharing program.\n(5) Shared vehicle owner. – The registered owner of a shared vehicle that is made available for sharing through a peer-to-peer vehicle sharing program.\n(6) Vehicle sharing provider. – The person or entity that operates, facilitates, or administers the provision of personal vehicle sharing through a peer-to-peer vehicle sharing program.
