\nNotwithstanding the definition of the term 'foreign corporation' in G.S. 55-1-40(10), Article 15 of Chapter 55, relating to foreign corporations, where it is not inconsistent with Chapter 53, shall apply to all international banking corporations doing business in this State. (1991, c. 679, s. 1.)
