\n(a) This Part may be cited as the State Trust Company Charter Act.\n(b) It is the express intent of this Part to provide for the chartering of trust companies apart from the provisions of Article 2 of this Chapter and to permit trust companies to engage in trust business subject to the provisions of this Article.
