\nThe Commissioner, at his or her discretion, may examine the affiliates of a bank to the extent it is necessary to safeguard the interest of depositors and creditors of the bank and of the general public, and to enforce the provisions of this Chapter. The Commissioner may conduct the examination in conjunction with any examination of the bank or an affiliate thereof conducted by any other state or federal regulatory authority. (2012-56, s. 4.)
