\nNotwithstanding any other provisions of Chapter 58 of the General Statutes, the Commissioner may share confidential and privileged documents, materials, or information with the Department of Revenue. The documents, materials, or information shared shall be considered tax information and subject to the provisions of G.S. 105-259. (2015-99, s. 1.)
