§ 58-3-260

\n(a) As used in this section, the terms 'health benefit plan' and 'insurer' have the meanings applied under G.S. 58-3-167.\n(b) Each health benefit plan shall provide coverage for newborn hearing screening ordered by the attending physician pursuant to G.S. 130A-125. The same deductibles, coinsurance, reimbursement methodologies, and other limitations and administrative procedures as apply to similar services covered under the health benefit plan shall apply to coverage for newborn hearing screening.
