\nIf a decedent owning personal property located within North Carolina shall leave no heirs, heirs at law or devisees other than persons disqualified from inheritance under G.S. 64-3, then such personal property shall escheat. (1959, c. 1208; 1985 (Reg. Sess., 1986), c. 797, s. 2; 2011-284, s. 60.)
